About City Business Brokers
As a business broker based in the heart of Birmingham, we began by asking Kevin for some insight into company – including what prompted the move to Grosvenor House:
“City business brokers was established in 2005, and originally opened an office in Birmingham on Hagley Road, Edgbaston.
“At City Business Brokers we specialise in the buying and selling process of small to medium size businesses throughout the UK. Our comprehensive services and resources provide professional guidance for business sales and purchases, business valuations, buyer financing and exit strategy and planning.”
Kevin explained that the businesses he sells are very diverse, anything from a small independent high street retailer to a medium sized manufacturing company.
The move to Grosvenor House
City Business Brokers have been working with Grosvenor House since April 2021:
“When my office block was acquired for redevelopment – it was imperative that I remained within the city centre. I looked at multiple different office providers, but chose Grosvenor House as it was the best location, plenty of on-road parking nearby and a well-known location for my clients.’’

Local businesses buy local businesses – so if people try to get hold of me on my mobile, at least with call handling it captures the initial enquiry and is answered professionally by a local person.”
- Meeting rooms – “I do like to use the meeting room option. It’s great to have a working space when I’m in the city – which is a great advantage of working with Grosvenor.”
- Hot desking – “This is a service I would definitely use, but because of the pandemic, I haven’t needed to yet.”
Commenting on the transition between his old office and Grosvenor House, Kevin explained how easy the change was:
“The transition was seamless the team were very efficient and friendly, and nothing was too much trouble’’
“The office building itself is elegant – being able to use these images on my website looks fantastic, and really enhances my business profile.”
