Grosvenor House was delighted to host the second gathering of the Grosvenor Business Club, our new networking initiative poised to become a fixture in the calendars of Grosvenor clients and associates. The event, held yesterday at our sleek Bar 11 meeting room, drew yet another crowd brimming with enthusiasm as both familiar faces and new connections convened to explore new connections, learn from one another and celebrate Birmingham’s thriving businesses.
The Grosvenor Business Club was established in January to provide a relaxed and welcoming platform for entrepreneurs to connect and converse. Part of the goal behind GBC has always been to help the businesses that choose Grosvenor House for Registered Office, Call Handling, Mail Forwarding and Meeting and Conference spaces to come together and share ideas, challenges and opportunities in a relaxed setting. We were delighted to see some first time networkers and brand new business in attendance and that all of our guests seized the opportunity to interact with fellow professionals across diverse industries.
Representatives from a spectrum of Birmingham’s leading businesses attended, offering a breadth of expertise spanning technology, healthcare, finance, marketing, law, retail, and HR. The event served as a melting pot of ideas, experiences, and insights, really showcasing the rich tapestry of Birmingham’s vibrant business community. The crowd was well catered for with delicious vegan food courtesy of Jewellery Quarter restaurant and fellow St Pauls Square resident Somewhere In Brum who served mouth-watering Indian cuisine for our guests.
This quarters guest speaker was Helen Brookes of the Demand Generation Team, who shared her insight into how small and growing businesses can leverage Marketing to drive commercial performance. Each quarter we’d like to hear from local businesses about your story and how your learnings can help Birmingham’s business community thrive, so if you would like to be our next guest speaker please do get in touch!
We asked Holly Mourbey, Sales and Marketing Manager at Grosvenor House how she felt about the event and the growth of the Grosvenor Business Club, here’s what she told us:
“The team and I couldn’t be happier with the success of Grosvenor Business Club’s second gathering. This is real a testament to how vibrant the Birmingham business community is, and how important networking is for the success of both new and established entrepreneurs.
It was encouraging so see so many faces from our first Grosvenor Business Club join us once again, with many commenting on how helpful our inaugural meeting was for expanding their network of connections. We can’t wait to see everybody again for our July gathering!”
As the Grosvenor Business Club grows, preparations are already in motion for the next event scheduled for July. Attendees can anticipate another evening of networking and knowledge exchange on Thursday July 25th – contact our team below to express your interest in attending.
