Wow, what a fantastic evening we had last night!
Thursday 8th May 2025 saw Grosvenor House buzzing with energy for our spring Grosvenor Business Club gathering. It was brilliant to welcome such a diverse and engaged group of local entrepreneurs, business leaders, and professionals into our space here at Grosvenor House. It was delightful to see some returning faces, and a whole host of new ones mingling together.
The whole point of these events is to bring people who may not otherwise collaborate together to learn, connect, and grow, and last night certainly delivered. The highlight, of course, was our keynote speaker who joined us to shed some light on a topic that’s on everyone’s minds: Artificial Intelligence.
Demystifying AI: It’s Everywhere!
We were absolutely delighted to host Gez McGuire, Founder of Get AI Ready, who delivered a truly insightful and eye-opening presentation. Gez didn’t just talk about AI as some futuristic concept; his key point was how deeply it’s already integrated into our daily lives and business operations – often without us even noticing!
He gave fantastic, real-world examples, showing us that AI isn’t just about the latest chatbots or AI assistants we might interact with. It’s quietly powering everything from sophisticated predictive audience targeting in our PPC and search advertising campaigns to complex backend systems that optimise efficiency and make things run smoother. It really got us thinking about the vast opportunities and the ever-growing implications of AI for businesses of all shapes and sizes. After all, AI isn’t going anywhere, and it’s our responsibility as businesses and entrepreneurs to get ahead!

The positive feedback throughout the evening highlighted just how valuable everyone found it. It’s always rewarding to see our guests gaining practical insights and making new connections over some delicious locally-sourced food and beverages in our magnificent underground Bar 11.
